Insincere sencerities

~Insincere sincerities~
Written: 08 May 2020

Hush now with your empty hyperbole's
Your over exaggerated understatements
Your sincere insincerityjust insults me
and abates any wanton gravitation.

How can you miss or want
Long and love this fallen goddess
Be so ever pompously blunt
to think I am nothing more than not modest

I will not deny my peiced together beauty
deny everything I broke in me for this strength
I owe you no stories of the times I put my wants below duty
or to tell tale of the days my heart broke more with every breath

I am poetry shouted over mountains
that echo back with whispers
I am storms and I am sunshine
I am wine that only with age gets crisper

So don't you undermine me
with praise you assume I so do crave
I am not misguided to believe words recited on key
by many man who think me naive

You're the insincere ones
who only care far enough to find the rabbit hole
the ones with honey coated thorned tongues
Touching the surface but never wanting the soul

The predators disguised as good men
they preach and shout a top thier soap boxes
The hungry fox who stalks the injured hen
As playing victim in all thier paradoxes

So hush now my hungry hunter
and go track a less instinctual prey
beneath your disguise only a suntar
who will feed on the weak without delay.

Dont insult with denied pretense
or try intimidate me with passive anger
my experienced heartbreak is my defense
and believe me I'm not the one in danger.
