Choose To Be Blessed

There is no wise counsel with the ungodly,
Their words are tainted by the world.
Disdain is heard in most every word, devoid of good conversation.
Yet there is a Book of the Law,
Of which I stand in awe...
Of its teachings.
I study it.
I meditate on it.
I feed on it.
Words that ground me.
Plant me.
Give me roots...Depth
I flourish from the depth of wisdom.
Growing in and out of season.
Prospering in all that I do.
As one who has the ‘Midas touch’.
Yet those who choose not this Path
Bear no fruit.
They’ll have no root.
Unstable.
Unable...to maintain their footing.
They won’t stand!
They can’t stand!
In the gathering, nor the assembly
Reserved for those who regard wise counsel.
God knows it and theirs is no good end.
Choose to be blessed.
