Inseparable Shadow of thoughts

I wish I feared things that I hated, things I could run away from but unfortunately it was my own thoughts that made me tremble and lose the rhythm of my breath.

My thoughts constantly remind me-that how my best is not even good enough, they remind how my achievements are merely the result of serendipity and warn me that once I am out of my limited luck, I will be exposed as the incompetent person I am.

Fortunately these thoughts occasionally retreat from my head and I am substituted with my daily worries, but these thoughts always find their way back to their permanent home.

So I wait until the day their home is destroyed and then I will be finally be free, free from myself.
