TIME TRAVEL

I wish I had a flux capacitor,
Or understood Quantum Physics,
Flying in a Tardis to wherever the pain started,
Leading to life’s decision being inverted,
I would have warned my younger self of all those emotional bricks,
That no one is a friend but everyone is a traitor.

I wish I had 1.21 gigawatts of power,
And could accelerate to 88 miles per hour,
Speed and power enough to stop life turning sour,
I would get my younger avatar out of the security tower,
Giving emotions colour, than the reality of them being dull and dour,
Not having to wish away all regrets under the weight of the water from the shower.

Tired of the daleks, cybermen and bad wolf that reside in his mind,
Making him realise that the attitude problem was not his but of the enemy,
That shouting out isnt a sign of disrespect.
To remove the lies and take off the scarf to make him unblind,
To realise that there is nothing wrong with his identity,
And give him the tools, so he has the power of his life to direct

If I had the knowledge, I would have the ability to go back in the blink of a cosmic clock,
Reverse time to have the ability to live without a mental lock,
Letting those voices escape,
Instead being a superhero in his story but without a cape,
I would be the hologram to guide my younger self,
Making sure that they dont grow up to feel like a skelf
