Analysis of Yours

The beating of drums surround me
Pins and needles caress my skin
I've never felt less lonely
Since this spell that I've slipped in

My breaths become more frequent
Stars before my eyes
This life flashes in sequence
I know more can arise

Warmth consumes my bones
Threatening to overtake me
Everything I've felt as home
Has arrived just as heavenly

My lashes part so softly
As they part from their embrace
I will never love so strongly
As the first time I saw your face

The beating drums have ceased
Peace has overcome me
I have overpowered the beast
Just knowing that you love me

One kiss is all it takes
The emotion from me pours
I can finally stop dreaming
Knowing I am yours
