Analysis of To My Mother
I remember the soft lines of your face
I vividly remember your warm embrace
Your voice pierces my dreams
As I sleep at night
And you keep me safe
Until the morning light
A part of me died when you went away
There are so many things
I didn't get to say
I'm just going through the motions trying
To get through
This life but I keep thinking of you
You will be loved until the end of time
And my memories will always be mine
That no one on earth can take away
I'll always cherish our last day
When I looked into your tired eyes
As the angels carried you to
The sky
