Always

I’ve cried a thousand tears
For who, for you
For those who will never for me
Reasons to live
Reason to die
A search for a love
A sliver of hope
Reaching out
Trying to move on
Continued life
Not the same course
A dream to be me
Not...

Thank you for the insight and feedback. I am working on developing better delivery. With that said when I was taught I was encouraged to write with the emotion and feeling of the moment. Personally I know what I was feeling at the time and identify with those feelings when I read it. Not knowing what the poem is about? That’s hard for me to equate. I was also taught to not look for actual “meanings”. Poems are interpreted differently by everyone, and I relate to a persons raw state of mind and openness rather than structure. Please don’t let me put you off. I am entirely flattered that someone even took the time to read my material. Let alone offer completely valid advice and critique.
