A Morning Vision

As light drives out the darkest night.
There’s no one left for me to fight.
So, I’ll just play a tune instead.
From the LORD I have been fed.

“Jesus loves me”, it’s very sweet.
I come and bow down at his feet.
He lifts me up to heaven’s door...

Trapped inside a sinful maze.
Trying to find our way out.
We can’t! We just sit down and pout.

We need someone to rescue us.

Open an Ear; He Still Loves You

The judgment day is far away
At least that is what men think.
But we will walk by quiet streams
With time to take a drink.

And when we think of what we’ve done
Our hearts begin to sink.

He watches the little people
