I was born in Chicago, Il, and raised by my eldest aunt in a small, rural town; Portland, AR. I currently reside in San Francisco, CA. I have six siblings; I am the oldest. Learning new things and challenging myself are two of my most positive personal characteristics. Several years ago, my aunt suggested that I write a poem to one of my loved ones whom I was missing in my life. Not knowing what to write, I decided to sit in my room and search my heart and soul for guidance. My poem then evolved. Ever since that day, I realized my love for writing poetry. It is now my desire to share my love of poetry with others and to connect with others of like mind.
