My name is Kinn Aquiress. I started writing back in the summer of 2009. I can still vividly remember how I tried to capture the sight of the world I had never seen before. The view of the sparkling emerald river below the hill-peak high bridge of Bangued, the endless mountain fortress of Abra and the noisy night lights of the suburbs on our way to Makati made me feel like I'd been lost for a lifetime. I didn't realize that I kept so many words in my notebooks since that day and each time I read them, they remind me that I'm not really lost. I'm just looking for a direction. It's as if I never got off that bus in the capital, and I'm still painting the skies in my head, chasing the winds outside the windows, and waiting for this never-ending ride to drop me off somewhere I'd like to stay for a long time.
