Blade

Blade.

In his desperate bid to escape from his own prison.
He broke out in rage.
His mouth cursed in angerness
His mind clouded with vengeance
Whilst his beating heart throbbed in agony.

Truth be told
blade was capable of showing love but at times it would appear he did not know what it was meant .....
this thing called love.

Mummy never showed love,
mummy did not care enough.
Daddy was always drugged up,
I think today he’s getting locked up.
These were meant to be parents.
You can say the pair were pretty fucked up.

Daddy why you play so rough.
Boy, you know my love is tough.
Daddy leave him alone.
Blade! this is my zone.
He’s bleeding daddy please.
Boy I’ll slap you in the face LET ME BE!
I’m hungry mummy, can we eat?
Not today!
there’s only food for me.
Boy come here, how old are you again 5,6?Today I’ll show you how to be a man.
This here is a knife boy,
a mans bestfriend,
go on hold it,
you want to be a man right?
So show me that you can.

See those bricks & nails over there?
I’ll aim one at his head to teach him a lesson,
this was daddies favourite.
A easy choice of weapons.

For he was only 5 he did not know any better.
He was grown now,
Till this day, no apology not even a letter.

but I wondered if this would even make him feel any better?

I wonder if you paid any attention to what he loved most.
His favourite cartoon,
favourite superhero?
The things is......
I don’t think you know.

For every scar on his body, it told a different story.
His left cheek, he hates it.
He wants it gone,
So god just take it, let it be done.
See....that one had a knife carved through it,
the one on his belly though?
I think the Same shit happened to it.
His worst one of all.
It’s not visually visible.
But close your eyes and place your hands upon
His left chest, can’t you feel it?
Now that scar was despicable.

How could you blame him for anything?
The years of neglect & abuse.
How could he have learnt anything ?

There was one he trusted most.
blaze was her sweet boy.
She loved him Unconditionally.
she’s no longer here now but I know she watches over him continuously.

This once Sweet innocent baby you turnt into a cold corrupted individual.

From young all he wanted was to be accepted.
Again and again you made him feel rejected.
8 billion faces but yet he still feels disconnected. See his mind now was poisoned.
It was only becoming infected.
He cried out for help in the only way her knew how....

The pain followed him through to adulthood.
He was getting up to no good.
A man with a troubled childhood.

He was shadowed by self doubt.
Lost in this world, shadowed by trepidation.
Searching for answers but found no real explanation.
See he was lonely inside, learning to cope with separation.
Always on the move,
finding himself in different locations.

Now we can already see what was to be expected.
He couldn’t think straight
his actions, his decisions they were hugely affected.
I couldn’t tell you how many times this man had himself arrested.
He thinks we all view him as someone who’s just angry & tormented.
But I saw the beauty in him.
He was just a butterfly
