Upon the Blue Horizon

There is a reason for everything we do
Like waves to the moon
my heart pulls me to you.
Day breaks the world into its awakening.
Shattered light fractures upon my face
stirring remnants of the still night, once upon a time.
It is cold, it is bright, and I am alive
There are snow crystals on the windowsill
shimmering in the twilight

dancing with fragments of my salvation.
