Theatre

Karolina Marszałkowska 1993 (Gdańsk)

I'm coming on stage
The curtain is still down
I know I'm at right age
And that I won't play a clown

My role is somewhat strange
Although it changes with time
Saviour or one who'll avenge
Shouting "Ave!" , or "Nein!"

Curtain can slowly rise
I take deep breath and stand
I cover with mask my eyes
So I'll hide before you offend

This play of my being
I try my hardest to pull
I'm dying or living
For you it'll always be dull

What means one peformer
In a play you'd make interesting
On this stage I'm a loner
You are watching and testing

But you see ...it's MY play
I am director , technician
An actor, musician
Scenery is on my say

You don't have to see
Leave your seat and go out
It's a story about me
I don't want you to rout
