The tree and the Wind
I stand here strong this mighty oak, watching my leaves sway as the wind blows.
It starts just like a normal day until I decide to test my strength.
I yell out to the wind "IS THAT ALL YOU GOT, I'M GOING NO WHERE I'VE BEEN HERE FROM THE START"
"I'M STRONGER THEN YOU I'VE BEEN HERE SINCE BIRTH MY ROOTS EMBEDDED WITHIN THIS EARTH".
"YELL AND SCREAM AND TEST YOUR MIGHT, I'M A STURDY TREE AND WILL PUT UP A FIGHT!!!
The wind yells back: YOU ARROGANT TREE, YOU DARE TO ACTUALLY TRY AND TEST ME?
All of a sudden the wind unleashes it's wrath and this great big oak is right in it's path.
This mighty tree begins to sway and all it's leaves just blow away
The tree just laughs and screams again " I'M STILL STANDING SO TRY AGAIN"?
The wind gathers strength and in one big gust this mighty oak begins to thrust.
This grand old oak begins to fall for the wind has lifted it roots and all.
It lays on the ground to wither away for another so called giant just got slayed.
