I am Deanna Leigh.
Like the cheetah, I am swift,
And like the eagle, I soar.
I am the color of a dime in the moonlight,
Painting a new beginning, a new life.
When my name is sung, I feel I belong;
Like the world is my playground,
And I am swinging on the swings of life.
I believe in making my own mistakes.
I touch the hearts of many lost souls.
I am from the shadow of darkness himself,
Just the way I am.
I am simply me...
Call me Dee if my name's too hard,
But sit back and relax while I live my own life.
