Mind Boggling

I'm a mess, a beautiful disaster.
 A rebel with no master.
 A church with no pastor.
A story with no happy ever after.

My heart is big but its starting to turn cold.
Praying that I won't be like this until I'm old..

What happened to the old me?
Life can be a b*tch, nobody told me.
Mama and daddy left, so being a man was something nobody showed me.
Now I'm offended just by the notion of anyone trying to control me.

I'm not perfect, my story seems to be never ending.
I can't believe this is just the beginning.

See I need someone to touch my heart, and feel my pain.
Share my past, feel my shame.
I f*ck*d up.. I'm tired of trying to figure out who's to blame.
Can you help me! I'm going insane.

See these are secrets I don't often share.
Stories of the pain that I always bare.
 You still there?
 You still care?

If you say you care, know that I wanna believe you.
But its hard when everyone who was supposed to be there chose to leave you.
Inside I'm begging you to stay, you can't imagine how much I need you.

See the past has passed, but the pain stayed.
 Maybe over time it'll fade.?
At least that's what I prayed.
Trying my best to be the man he made.

I have baggage so if you wanna ride with me, pack your bags and lets go.
I promise I won't steer you wrong, so take my hand and we can both let go.
