Juggled Frowns
Closed circuit angles gather our faces,
lean snap machines that are clicked into spheres
as vast information is sponged away,
spirited into the realms of language.
Every second captured for scrutiny
by computer programs and eyes that stare;
blinking our lives across cold hemispheres.
Lost: people stream through an hourglass image
of content to the fine point of boredom,
or rushing like soldiers under the lens,
insect mentality; ants - man enlarged.
Freedom sits inside a quiet corner,
contemplating failure while the world spins
its axis of colourful delusion,
disappointment runs riot and scrapes dreams,
constant sad lines, smiles, frowns which juggle us.
