Finally Home

As I lay down on my deathbed,
And think of gloty still;
I´m fondest of my Savior,
With joy, my heart does fill.

The journey that I´ve taken,
Countless detours along the way;
The path that leads to heaven´s gates,
Glistening waters of that bay.

My desire is to see You,
Twinkling eyes deep fromo my heart;
Forever in Your Presence,
And never to depart.

The angels line the staircase,
With their praises towards His Throne;
I am returning to my Abba Father,
Praise God! I´m finally home!
