Spring Fever



This poem is a free lance poem describing nature with inspiration and melancholy. It was written in a Creative Writing class, and is very free spirited and colorful.
     Every time I give friends or family to read they close their eyes and can imagine such a mythical place.

About this poem

On a joyous, bright Spring day, Taking a refreshing stroll at the park, Finding a magical mood, Wandering on a quiescence, winding road An array of blooming dandelions dance, In the gentle, cool breeze A place painting a picture of nature, Blue jays singing sweet melodies Enwrspping me in a secret realm, Watching arrogant unicorns fly over a rainbow, Flourishing in my hopes and dreams, Meditating upon emerald green pastures, Away from duties of work or home, Listening to the fairies play the fiddle, Espurgating all of my worries or fears, Feeling love and comfort embrace me, Finally waking up from my reverie, Appreciating a beauty of imagination, Discovering its ability to create a journey, It’s gift to touch my soul,
