I Knock at Your Door

I knock at your door
Have you heard me?
In certain recent days
My dreams know your presence.
I've seen your eyes looking
And I wish to know your thinking.
I knock at your door
Do you know me?

I listen to your voice
Soft and gentle.
I wish to hear your words
And know the wisdom they speak.
I grasp every sentence
Much like catching tiny raindrops
From a pristine sunlit sky.

I notice all your movements
From their whisper
Like wind in the fields
That sways the golden grain.
Never has your presence faltered
In lightening a journey
Whether near or far it be.

I peer into a universe before me,
Wishing to know
And wishing to be.
A universe that sparkles before me
Magic emanations,
Aesthetics expand.
I wish to paint a universe
Standing by your side
Knowing the true joy of being.

I smile into your world
Have you heard me?
The chimes they ring
And forests rustle.
I knock at your door,
Do you know me?

About this poem

This poem was written in a romantic moment and it more or less speaks for itself with its intensity, its message, metaphors and similes. Sometimes, words paint a picture for the reader, but this poem has painted a motion picture or a play, bringing it to life. It has a message saying that the door to the universe is now wide open and we can share its beauty. When I wrote this it magically poured effortlessly from my mind onto the page; it was difficult for the pen to keep up with the pace of the creative flow.
