Relativity

Daniel Apple 1973 (Philippines)

In the quiet of night shadows are weeping, their tears fall silently keeping secrets. The moon’s become pale, the stars above are like shattered dreams, twinkling faintly, getting lost in endless streams. Those I have loved have gone away, all that remains-is their haunting melodies of sorrow, whispers in the wind about love and their memory makes me run a finger along a straight razor, always searching for solace, and only finding pain, as I sit in melancholy. It’s a sadness so beautiful it’s ugly, which gives me hope that they will all find me again someday, as my tears blend into falling drops, mourning the love that was lost and time forgot…..DappleM73
