Old Woman

Old lady looking waxed and thin
dull eyes with a far away stare
remembering her childhood years
what fun it was to be that young
playing all the childhood games
Now she sits waiting for the end
staring with her dull dead eyes
hoping to go to eternal sleep.
dreaming of what life once was.
old lady was once me
