Why me?

Free verse
When I look at you,
I turn back time,
To when it was new,
When my words didn’t rhyme,
Always been my favourite,
How you kept choosing me? 

Even when I harmed you,

Why do you still choose me ?
When I use a knife against you?
Lose me ,
I pray to u,
Give up on me,
I am not worth the try.

About this poem

I wrote this poem for a boy i loved so much, that when he tried to love me back i couldn't handle it. Its about how i occupied all the love for him and did not have space for the love he wanted to give.
