Kiss

Latin X 1967 (Philadelphia)

Is it possible to miss lips you’ve never kissed?

His lips I miss.
I wait for the opportunity to kiss his lips.

It would be the longest, softest and most sensual kiss he’d ever get.

A kiss to remember.

If I never kiss him again it’s quite alright.
It’s not a kiss goodbye.

Just a kiss he’ll always reminisce.

About this poem

I had a crush on a fellow poet when I wrote this. He still doesn’t know I liked him.

Nice. I have a crush on my cleaning lady and she don't know. Maybe we should tell them? Okay maybe not.
