Unwritten
A proper letter to write with my wit,
To address a vow that was never writ,
Suppressed by an emotion yet glad to commit,
You and I together, forever in thought, I admit,
As our eyes settled on each other the world faded,
Like a stage where we sat while the rest are shaded,
A beating heart of a nervous venture,
Unreal to life's whirlwind endeavor,
A risk gladly taken to place a ring on your finger,
Boring as I may be unsure why choose this pinch hitter,
No matter though we stand together,
In unison, hand in hand, a love for each other,
Breakfast in bed and a good night kiss,
Sometimes we'd cuddle in our love seat,
For you and I, I hope we reign well as we render,
The vows we make, I ask, may we keep together.
