Coffee, my Morning Meditation.

Coffee is my morning meditation
helps me get through the day
The electrocution in my elocution
Never run out of words to say.

Killing time, swinging on the vine
Like Tarzan in the jungle
A double shot of espresso
will make me breeze that word jumble.

People don't know what to make of me
And I can tell you with sincerity
From now and back my mind's undone
My birth certificate's from Area 51

Never know the next thing I'll say
Got no filter but that's my way
You can laugh or be offended
My heart was broke but now it's mended.

Words are mysteries
Lines are a series
of thoughts from beyond
Like someone waved a magic wand.

I fight the day's infection
with a night of astral projection
never asking for protection
or divine intervention.

These words they just come to me
as I take another sip from my coffee
The dreams woven into the concoction
A kindred spirit given up for adoption.

So if you've been where I've been
There's no reason to ask why
How I can pick words out of the sky
In through the storm and out the eye.
