Finding love

Finding love
By Elizabeth Nicasio G.

The winter lets the other season know about cold-hearted love like yours
Looking for the warmth of your heart I receive the echo of your icy hugs.
The dreaming of you had become a nightmare and just by crying myself to sleep I dismissed the predestined feeling of your love
The mystery of your denial of happiness creates the heat of the summer ice-cold
While I live out my love slowly it withers like the grass
The commitment of this love felt right in front of both.
As unbelievable as I tried to love you, the feeling was running
away as a river stream.
