Reflection in the mirror

Tanja Taylor 1981 (Ontario)

Sitting here, gazing upon my reflection in the mirror, I'm beautiful.  I'm god's creation with gifts noone else can see, poundering on how to use my light, only there's nothing in sight,  just me looking at my reflection in the mirror.  It's night and in hindsight my memory is cleared just  darkened night sky and a little light shining bright.  No signs or directions , just me,  the mirror , the night sky , and a little light far from my sight.  So I question myself in my mind I ask myself, am I that light thats shining the one so far from my sight?  Would that light be bright enough to guide me to my destination, my destiny, my purpose?  Or will it lead to darkness to the place where I see nothing or back to here my reflection in the mirror? .   By Tanja Taylor.
