What is taxidermy for?

Memories:
In fur and feathers, memories reside,
A faithful friend or a trophy's pride.
Through taxidermy, they remain with grace,
Time cannot erase that familiar face.

Education:
Preserved specimens enlighten our days,
To study creatures, their forms and ways.
In museums' halls and labs so bright,
Taxidermy's role, science's foresight.

Decoration:
Taxidermy's art brings nature's embrace,
Mounted on walls for the room's grace.
A statement piece, unique and grand,
Its beauty and wonder at your command.

Secrets:
In the basement's shadows, a curious find,
A taxidermy secret, one of a kind.
A creation concealed, discreetly stowed,
And where is my neighbor? Nobody knows.
