The Faun Has Bled

The liquid in the pitcher’s gone black
The goblet on the table’s been cracked
Wash up darling I’m here to stay
For a perfect feast on a tarnished plate

The Dawn can tread without me
The faun has bled without me

The stars keep staring at me so cold
Rejoice in your afflictions I’m told
I can’t take us all that way
It’s a meager feast on the perfect plate

The Dawn can tread without me
The faun has bled without me
