Today

Elissa vincze 1979 (Orange, ca)

I'm in dire need of a session
You know the kind of session that ends with bars
No not the kind of bars that lock you away
But the kind of bars that tell em your coming
Lately I've been in a creative recession
And it seems nobody else is on par
I need this to come swift with no delay
These people they just out here dumbing
Lining up in succession
Do they have any idea the destruction
Let alone the weight of this reality
When your light is so bright
You can't even see which way you should go
So here I am opening up my window
I'm all Ears lord take it all
I'm going all in and answering your call
No more doubt, no more fear
Enough is enough it's time to make it clear
No weapon formed against me
Shall ever come near
What God has covered it's absolutely clear
This vision God's gifted to me
Can only be brought forward when I release
All that I have tucked away up in here
Lord light the lamps to guide my steps
Sound the sirens to direct my heart
Send upon the breeze the feathered wings
To lift me when it's become too heavy
Make these roots reach through to the other side
Encapsulate this force to be reckoned with
Inside the might of your strength
Cloak it with your grace
Birth it into this new age
Let this be your domain
Where love is the answer
Truth is the light
Compassion is the sight
Reason is the voice
Patience is the passage
To healing your heart and mine
So that love like this shall never die
For even the fallen need love
And love needs the fallen
