Narcissists

Sweets are tasty
Colourful they be
But can be sour
Is fault in me

What you didn't expect
What you didn't see
What you didn't want
Be what they not be

Narcicissts exist
They are all around
Narcicissts are sweets
This I have found

Colourful and attractive
Pretending to be
What you had bought
But your tongue isn't free

Free of the sour
Sour makes you cry
They made you believe
It was the colour you try

Open your eyes
Do not be a fool
Nnarcicissts pretend
Narcicissts br cruel

Listen and learn
Try them first
So then you know
What colour will burst

I should not have survived but landed on a ledge half way down and this led to being saved by people who watched my sprint and jump. This poem started the book I wrote to help myself from trauma. more…
