I choose

I choose to be just as you are,
Solely as you will want me to be.
I choose to give and not take.
I choose to be more and not less.
I choose to be at peace, instead of depressed.
I choose to do what's right instead of what's wrong.
To never let go and only hold on.
I choose to push and always fight.
I refuse the dark and I choose the light.
I choose to love instead of hate.
I choose to understand instead of debate.
I choose to accept and never deny.
I choose to see things eye to eye.
