The Deceased Violinist
A lifeless corpse holds the lively contrivance.
The instrument overflows with soothing power.
A soothing power that doesn't reach its master.
The strings that reverberates with love and kindness
It's simply used to mask the deceit.
An audience which just hears sweet tones, forgets to ignore the hypocrisy.
