Dear mother

~ Delighted I am with you ~
When I'm about to fall
You catch me
When I'm feeling dark
You light me

When I need a hand
You give me your arm
You're the spring for me
For the haters you are the storm

When tears felt my cheek
You wiped them away

I pray every night my god
For you to stay

How precious you are
I see an angel
I see a star
You feel so similar to the heaven
Are you a jacinth or a diamond?

Healed me once
Healed me twice
Healed me more than thousand times
You are my twin
My astrophyllite
I've fallen into your arms
So please hold me tight

Raise your head up queen
You're so rare
Having you in my life is a gift
For others may seem not fair

Gratefully kissing your forehead
As an act of love
But the feelings I'm keeping in my heart for you are insanely above

Some things can't be expressed with words
My emotions, my feelings
Are one of those
There's no vocabulary that could show you their authentic worth

Your smile mesmerizes my eyes
And your laugh enthralls my soul
Your hug is my realm
Your kiss is my cure

Thank you trillion times
My remedy
Forever and ever
~I will love you till the infinity~

About this poem

This poem is dedicated to the bonds I have always shared with my mother, the most important person in my life. I tried to portray the love I hold for her, but, at the end of the day, which words can truly express our love for our mothers?
