What if I am next?

What if I may be next?
I wonder what will happen
Would the world also stand up for me,
even if I am uneducated without a degree.

That's what I keep wondering everyday
if there is something I can on relay.
I wish the old days can come back,
so that everything can come on track.

Everyday there are people dying
and the government just keep on lying.
They make promises they can not keep
that is what's hurting me so deep.

Cause my mind is full of questions
Enough is enough are not enough anymore.
What if I am the next rape victim?
What if I am the next murdered victim?
What if I am the next abuse victim?

All I want is answers
All I ask is action
All I ask for is protection
Only if it's the least they can do.

But the only question I have

What if I am next?
