Truth be told

Truth is told by the beating of the heart/ A heart that beats true/ shines light through/ the dark/ to the part/ of the soul/ where the lies dwell/ You can feel a lie that’s told/ The heart can always tell/ You may be deaf to the truth/ your body feels the energy/ It’s what makes the best of friends/ into the worst of enemies/ By a heart that’s dark/ and beats to the tune of lies/ Through the eyes it’s sung/ now the lie has found it’s demise/ You may try your hardest/ to deceive those who love you/ But those who really know you/ knows that your heart doesn’t beat true/ It’s in me/ it’s in you/ it’s in everyone you know/A lie that brings about the light/ casts the darkest of shadows/ Even with the sun out/ the sky clear and blue/ You can always feel the lies shadow/ hanging over you/ So rule number one/ Never lie to hurt another/ Even if you absolutely hate/ that motherfucker/ They may suffer for a bit/ A bit may even be years/ Although their soul gets washed clean through the cleansing of tears/ So if I were you/ I’d never lie to destroy a life/ If you do you may end up forgetting/that your lie cost a loved ones life/ Even before it was spoken/ your lie has already been said/ It’s the equation of life/ the problem only gets solved when we’re dead/ Life has no answers. It only has lessons/ Death holds the key to life/ You’ve just gotta ask it the right questions
