MAY

Liyana 1995 (Ernakulam)

On a sunny day
Lily of the valley blooms,
and we welcome May.

About this poem

This poem is about my birth month May and the flower related to the month. May is a month of spring when the winter is gone and the shine just starts to shine bright again. The Lily of the Valley is seen in its full bloom during this month. Just like the Sun and the flowers, May to me is a month where I begin a new year of my life.

This is good, and it comes through as a haiku. It meets all the requirements. Were you trying to write one?
The three lines has much poetry in them. Well-done!
