day at the beach.

I run out to the sea.
but my mom stops me!
"you need to put on sunscreen"
those words made me want to scream.

She plops her towel on the floor.
On the sand that's on the shore.
But there's that sunscreen I couldn't ignore.
so I put it on me because I couldn't take it anymore

I pull out a sandwich.
Eating one will never make me say goodbye!
I head out to the ocean,
thinking by now the sunscreen had dried.

me, my friends, and a grownup,
take out our boogie boards.
I run up to the sea,
'cause they are ahead of me!

We stand sideways, until a wave comes.
one knocking me over!
salt water dancing in my mouth,
which isn't as lucky as a clover.

But I would still do it again without a doubt!
