God’s Sign

Bonnie Barisa 1973 (Virginia)

Never cry for my soul
I am finally whole
Life takes it’s toll
I’m fixing to be on a roll
The white dove came to me
All the reasons I can now see
I am meant to be a tiny spark
I love going to the park
Creatures minds are in a shadow
A kind word can take their low
Sometimes all they need is God’s
         sign
It makes them feel better and fine
God is a solid stone
They no longer feel alone

About this poem

I wrote this poem and we took pictures less than 30 minutes later and we were photobombed by an angel.
