Tomorow Never Came

It's my favorite days like these
in the snow on my knees
the silence of the evening breeze
makes it feel like nine billion people have all but cease.

Its my favorite days like these
when the cold turns my hands white and red
makes me lose all feeling, like I'm in my bed
Listening to the guitar strums of the Nectar of The Gods

Its my favorite days like these
when the snow glitters my hair
all that remains is care
for another where

It reminds me of NYC in a way
in the city on a park bench
where the rosebuds never stay
under hotel awnings
take a picture in the snowy rain
its my fathers lock screen now
and ill remember that day
when tomorrow was a nuisance
because tomorrow never came
