five years old

five year old me wouldn’t even be able to see who she was looking at if she saw me now
because there’s nothing to see
a transparent version of an older her.
this little girl was so full of happiness full of undying love for the world and the people around her
she was too young to understand the disturbing things that were brought to her because it was wrapped in such beautiful paper but what was inside consumed her soul attached itself to her
it didn’t allow her to live anymore
she became a prisoner to her own eternal suffering.
she kept smiling hoping it would one day fade and attach to someone else
but it grew and eventually it became her
she was just a host to this abnormality
