The Bright Side

Jason A. Wright 1979 (Port-of-Spain)

Anger, sadness, fear and jealousy
Turning my mind into the sea
Slowly taking control of me
Eating me up inside
Consuming my self-esteem and pride.
This is the price I take
For all the mistakes I've done and yet to make
I know one day I will be free
Until then, my destiny is calling me
I must therefore be eagle-eyed
And always look at the bright side

About this poem
