The Beautiful Curse

The words don’t give me solace
Its the emotion hidden underneath
Yet the reduction in pain was so less
I don’t see peace beyond and beneath

The night spent forgetting you
Morning after,it all went in vain
Evening spent thinking what a curse were you
Surely less a boon,more a bane.

Another night went behind you,Oh!
This time outweighing the curse against promise
Coz no matter what I won’t let you go
The heart still says the sun will rise
It still winks in hope of morning

About this poem

It’s about a beautiful love story which didn’t have an equally beautiful ending and so, what seemed to be the purpose of life became an unbearable curse.
