Dying soul

She sits near the window
Staring at the rain like a widow
The clouds start thundering
And her thoughts start wandering
The rain reminds her of her tears
The sound reminds her of her fears
As the sky let the rain low
She let her tears flow
She fell asleep to the sound of rain
And said goodbye to the world of pain
Drifted from a world which wasn't hers
Into a world which was better than hers
