Do you know
Do you know what it's like to lose your mind?
To slowly die inside, one day at a time?
To feel as if you're always alone,
To never have that place to really call home
To sit in darkness & stare at the walls,
Then suddenly realize, no one really cares at all.
No family or friends that will be there through it all,
Just all fake smiles, even when the tears began to fall.
1000 things going through your head
But you have this emptiness,
A feeling of wanting to be dead.
Having so much to say, But you sit there in silence.
Your demons dragging you under
There is no way to escape,
When all they want to do is come out & play
You beg and plead, but no sounds are ever made.
This is what I felt like when my mind when away
About this poem
I'm not really a poem writer , I just write down the things that I'm thinking and feeling at the moment. But this piece was wrote almost one month after I had a massive heart attack and I was home alone in my feelings , my thoughts so I begin to write
