Mirrored

Death reigns from above
as eyes gaze blankly down
and watch as they shatter
among the shimmering remains
a sillouhette, a reflection,
a melody of what used to be theirs.
Beauty in all that you destroy, but nothing grows in your garden
if only i could wrap you in ivy,
infuse your brain matter with petals so you could never tell the difference
and untie your knots you tied with thorns.
I’d bleed untying you.
May my blood sink into your veins and run within, a stream of terror,
do you feel my rage?
