Twinkle Dwindle

A trip to the end of the road,
I journey in search of a sole mender
To mend my soul
Broken by the realities of the society

With a jar of sobber waters
To quench my undying taste for true love
With tears watering the flowers of affection
Making it grow

Be it not I; a helpless fish
Frying in the pan of emotions
Smiling with thought of getting on feet

My bed, a shallow ocean of thought
For a sculpture stands in the mirror of my imagination

What then, have I for you
Fine face friend, lover of mine
The seed of love germinated in my heart
Growing into an unconscious hidden sensation
decapitating the pillars of my thought
Turning it to the memories of wind

What is worthy of my life?
What dearer?
For if any creature I did see,
which I desired, nothing but a dream of you.

Many years unknown,
This love has grown, to you; unknown

Joy to no more joy to joy
 Hymns sung in distant hills
In the neighbouring sun
Celebrating our love

But love, a mirage
For love, a dark thread sewing two shadows together,
Trying to mend my soul
Broken by the realities of the society

If love do exist,
Not for us

Together, binded we be
Not yet, but a grave of dreams
Love, but a nightmare scream

But what ever dies, was not tied well
All pleasure, fancies be.

About this poem

A love not supposed to be. A boy falling in love with another boy unintentionally. And due to the social status quo can not have a happy love life.
