When Can we Be

a.d.stoves 1975 (Hyannis)

You walked by, you didn't see me. I was swept away, for as far as I can see. For you to look in my direction, I would have to say something to you. And for you to be with me, I would have to feel for the cold, and look to the Stars, in the Sun. For I feel right then in there you are the one, and only woman I would meet, but then you left, so now you're gone, but I'll still remember our song. It played when you entered the room. Now I know there was no getting over you. So when you get this letter, just know it came from me. Until that day, until that time,
When can we be?
