To be poet

1
Some days
I stare hard at a sheet of paper
That refuses to take on poetry,
I end up writing numbers on it
Hoping I figure out why.

2
When a tree refuses to fall,
You would know gravity has a date,
The ground whirls out a troubled call,
When gravity is heartbroken, he knows his fate.

3
A bad poem is one not written,
It's kept in the mind till it's forgotten.
A bad poem is a poor wish,
Buried in the mind like dead fish in water.

4
Write me my story
Let me laugh at each line,
Frown at what you think of me

Write me my story
Let me laugh at the sight of the first line,
Point me to a casket with your thoughts of me.

5
When I forget to smile
Send me picture of you.

At the bottom right of my heart there's only you left…
